About the Role:
A six-month, hands-on internship inside a working product team. You are paired with a mentor, given real tickets from week two, and taught how software is actually built, reviewed, tested and shipped for paying clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Fix bugs and build small features in our products under a mentor's review.
- Write tests, read logs, and learn to reproduce problems before fixing them.
- Take part in stand-ups, sprint planning and code review like any other engineer.
- Complete the structured learning track: Git, SQL, REST, one back-end stack and one front-end stack.
- Present what you built at the end of each month.
What You’ll Bring:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in computer science, IT or a related field.
- Solid programming fundamentals in at least one language (Java, JavaScript, Python or Dart).
- Basic understanding of databases and how a web application works end to end.
- Curiosity, willingness to ask questions, and the ability to attend the Kalyan office 2–3 days a week.
Good to Have:
- A project you built yourself: a college project, a GitHub repository, a small app or website.
- Exposure to React, Spring Boot, Node.js or Flutter.
- Any hackathon, open-source or freelance work.
What You’ll Learn:
- How professional teams work: version control, code review, CI, testing and releases.
- One full stack well enough to build a feature on your own by the end of the internship.
- How software decisions look from the client's side of the table.
