About the Role:
Build and run the Java services behind ATOCONN's products (AEM, iCRM, iHR and the rest of the platform) and the client systems we deliver. You own features end to end: the Spring Boot API, the data model, and the React screens that use them.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and build REST APIs with Spring Boot, Spring Data and PostgreSQL / MySQL, with tests.
- Ship the front end for your features in React or Next.js, working from Figma designs.
- Model data for multi-tenant products: migrations, indexes, and queries that stay fast as clients grow.
- Integrate third-party systems: payment gateways, SMS and email, Tally and GST APIs, bank and ERP feeds.
- Review pull requests, keep CI green, and take part in releases and production support rotations.
- Talk to clients when it matters: clarify a requirement, walk through a fix, or demo a feature.
What You’ll Bring:
- 1–4 years building production applications with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
- Solid SQL: schema design, joins, indexing and query tuning on PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Working knowledge of React (hooks, state, fetch/REST) and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Git, code review, and writing unit and integration tests as part of normal work.
- Clear written and spoken English; comfortable explaining technical choices to non-engineers.
Good to Have:
- Spring Security, JWT / OAuth2, and role-based access in a multi-tenant system.
- Docker, Linux server basics, and deploying to a VPS or cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Message queues, scheduled jobs, or reporting pipelines.
- Flutter or React Native, for products that ship a mobile app alongside the web app.
