We deliver 97% of our projects on time and to the agreed scope. That is not luck or heroics at the end. It comes from three habits we keep on every engagement, large or small.
Clear scope, in writing
Before work begins, the client receives a written scope: what will be delivered, what will not, and what we need from them. Most delays we see elsewhere start with a scope that two people read differently.
When something new comes up, and it always does, we decide together whether it replaces something else, moves to a later phase or extends the timeline. Nothing is added silently.
Honest estimates
Estimates are made by the people who will do the work, broken into pieces small enough to check, with time set aside for the unknowns every project has. An estimate that looks good in a proposal but cannot be met helps no one.
A weekly check that the plan still holds
Every week we compare the plan with reality and share the result with the client: what is done, what is next and any risk to the date. A problem raised in week three can be solved. The same problem raised in the final week usually cannot.
This is how we moved Navi Mumbai Co-operative Bank's infrastructure to the cloud and to the secure .bank.in domain with zero downtime: the cut-over was planned around banking hours and checked step by step.
